News and notices for Christchurch District issued every Friday around 6pm in term time. It is distributed on email. If you don’t get it, email adultsupport@christchurchscouts.org.uk

 

Scouting Magazine

Issued termly by The Scout Association as an e-magazine via email. If you don’t get it, check these on Compass on your Communications tab;

  • the email address they use on your Personal Details page. Click edit if its incorrect, correct it, then Save.
  • the communications settings, you need ‘UK Email Preferences’ set to yes (yes, it oesn’t mention magazine in the title). Click edit if it’s not what you want, correct it then Save.
  • If you can’t login to Compass, register for a login

 

HQ membership emails and Updates

‘Your Membership email’ is normally issued monthly and gives news from HQ. They also issue emails (normally titled An update from Scouts) which keeps you up-to-date with any changes. Both are tailored to your role (if you have several, the one set as Primary on Compass) and/or your preferences about what you want to hear about.

If you don’t get it, check these on Compass on your Communications tab;

  • the email address they use on your Personal Details page. Click edit if its incorrect, correct it, then Save.
  • the communications settings, you need both ‘Membership Email’ set to yes. Click edit if it’s not what you want, correct it then Save.
  • the communications settings, scroll down to ‘Additional Topics’ and look to see what is set to yes. Click edit if it’s not what you want, correct it then Save.
  • If you can’t login to Compass, register for a login
